RETURNABLE ITEMS
Registered vs. Unregistered Products
Unregistered Products: Unregistered products are those products whose QR codes have NOT been activated with your contact information. Unregistered products are eligible for return and a full refund.
Registered Products: Registered products are those products whose QR codes HAVE been activated with your contact information. Registered products ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. Once you register a product, it becomes personalized to you and cannot be resold. Please test the product before registering it to ensure it works properly.
Returnable Items
The following are eligible for return, refund, and/or replacement:
- Unregistered, unused products
- Defective products (see “Defective Products” section)
- We send you the incorrect product and/or order
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Products that have been registered (QR code activated)
- Products returned without authorization
- Products damaged due to misuse or user error
- Downloadable digital content
- Gift cards
- Clearance or final sale items

30-DAY RETURN WINDOW
Any unused and unregistered products must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund.
To be eligible for return, the product must be unused, in its original condition, and must not be registered (i.e. the QR code is not activated). You must include proof of purchase (i.e. the order number of receipt) to be eligible for a return and refund. Original packaging is appreciated but not required.
Returns requested after 30 days of the delivery date will not be accepted unless the product is defective (see the "Defective Products" section).

MAKING A RETURN
Step 1: Contact Us
Email us at support@myscanbandz.com with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the product (if defective)
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
We will respond to your return request with:
- The return authorization
- The return shipping address
- Any additional instructions
DO NOT SHIP BACK PRODUCTS WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.
Step 3: Ship the Product
Package the product securely in an appropriate shipping container and ship the package to the address we provide you. Keep the tracking number for your records.
**SHIPPING COSTS** You are responsible for return shipping costs UNLESS the product is defective or we made an error with your order.
Step 4: Receive Your Refund
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, and you will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed.
Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
A product is considered defective if:
- The QR code does not scan properly
- The product arrives damaged
- Stickers do not adhere properly (due to a manufacturing defect, not normal wear)
- Wristbands are broken and/or cannot be secured
- Temporary tattoos do not apply or transfer correctly
The following are NOT considered defects:
- Stickers losing adhesion over time
- Temporary tattoos fading after several days or user error during application
- Wristbands wearing out after extended use
- Product damage from exposure to extreme conditions (water, heat, chemicals, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear
A registered product that is defective may be eligible for replacement or a refund.
Defective Product Return Process
If you receive a defective product:
- Contact us within 30 days of discovering the defect at support@myscanbandz.com.
- Provide the order number, description of the defect, and photos (if possible).
- We will replace the product at no cost OR issue a full refund (your choice).
For defective products, we will cover return shipping costs. Both registered and unregistered products can be replaced/refunded if they are defective.

REFUND DETAILS
When a proper return has been made, we will refund you the full purchase price of the product. We will refund your original shipping costs only if the product was defective or we made an error on our end.
We will NOT refund:
- Return shipping costs for non-defective products
- Original shipping costs for non-defective products
- Non-defective products that are returned after the 30-day return window
In some cases, we may offer a partial refund if:
- The product is returned used or damaged but is not defective
- The product is missing components
- The return is requested outside of the 30-day return window
We will contact you before processing a partial refund. Partial refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Processing Time
Below is the expected timeline for refunds once a return has been initiated:
- Refund approval: Within 1-2 business days after we receive the return.
- Refund processing: Within 5-7 business days after the refund approval.
- Refund appears in your account: Within 5-10 business days, depending on your banking institution.
In total, expect the refund process to take approximately 2-3 weeks from when you ship the return to when you see the refund in your account. You will receive email confirmation from us at each step of the process.

EXCHANGES
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different product:
- Return the original product through the return process outlined above.
- Place a new order for the product you want.
This ensures you receive your new product quickly without waiting for the return to process.

BULK ORDERS
Bulk orders (i.e. for schools, camps, organizations, etc.) are orders containing 25 or more products. Bulk orders have special policies that may be different from our normal product policies.
Before Purchasing a Bulk Order
Contact us at support@myscanbandz.com to discuss your needs and the quantity you desire. We will provide a custom quote and discuss return/refund terms and conditions.
We strongly recommend ordering a small sample pack before placing large bulk orders to ensure your satisfaction with the product prior to ordering more.
After Purchasing a Bulk Order
Once a bulk order has been made, returns may be accepted for unused, unregistered products only. However, custom or specifically printed bulk orders may not be returnable. If you have a custom or specifically printed bulk order you wish to return, contact us at support@myscanbandz.comand we will work with you to determine whether or not the order may be returned. We will replace any defective products that may exist in a bulk order, regardless of customization or not.
Once registered, a bulk order cannot be returned, although individual defective products can be replaced.

ORDER ERRORS
Our Mistake
If we make an error with your order (wrong product, wrong quantity, missing items, etc.), contact us immediately at support@myscanbandz.com. We will send you the correct product at no charge. We will provide a prepaid return label for incorrect items, and you will receive a full refund for any missing items
Your Mistake
If you order the wrong product and the product is unregistered, you may return it within 30 days of the delivery date following standard return process. You are responsible for return shipping costs when returning the product. If you order the wrong product but register or use the product, you are not eligible for a full refund.

CANCELLATIONS
Before Shipping
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund for the order if you email support@myscanbandz.com before the product has been shipped.
After Shipping
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must receive the product and follow the normal return process to receive a refund.

LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Lost Packages
If your package is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, check with your local post office or delivery service to ensure your product was delivered. Wait three business days before contacting us, as sometimes packages may be marked as delivered early. If the package still has not arrived, contact us at support@myscanbandz.com with your order number, and we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include filing a claim with the carrier or sending a replacement.
Damage During Shipping and Delivery
If your package arrives visibly damaged:
- Take photos of the packaging and product.
- Contact us immediately at support@myscanbandz.com.
- Include your order number and photos of the damaged package and/or product.
We will replace damaged products or issue a full refund.
