myScanBandz works differently for groups than for individual families. Instead of every parent registering separately, one registration covers the whole order.
Order what your program needs
Wristbands for kids, gear tags for backpacks, helmets, lunch boxes, and equipment. Volume discounts kick in at 50 wristbands or 100 gear tags.
Register the group in about two minutes
Your program director, lead teacher, head counselor, or trip chaperone scans one code and registers the whole order. Enter the organization name, a contact phone, and any instructions a finder should see. Every band and tag in that order routes back to that contact. If your program needs each family to hold their own registration instead, we can set that up — just tell us in your quote request.

Kids wear the bands. Gear tags go on equipment. If anyone gets separated — at the field trip, on the slopes, in the parking lot — a finder scans the QR code and reaches you right away. They see your organization name and your contact number. No app required for them. No app required for you.

I'm a paramedic and an eighteen-year ski patroller at Aspen Highlands. I'm also a dad of two. The idea showed up at an Avalanche game — I looked over at my three-year-old and my five-year-old in that crowd and realized that if we got separated, neither of them had a phone or any way to tell an adult who they belonged to. We had no plan. So I built one.
Then it proved itself. Teddy was three. We'd skied all morning and headed up to Elk Camp for the alpine coaster. He waited by the entrance while I stepped inside for tickets — two minutes, maybe. My phone rang before I reached the counter. A woman outside had seen him standing alone, wasn't sure whether he was lost or just waiting, and did what any good person does: she checked. She noticed the gear tag on his helmet, scanned it, and called me.
He was fine. He hadn't moved. But she didn't know that — and that's exactly the point. Ten seconds from "is this kid okay?" to having his dad on the phone. No app, no front desk, no asking a three-year-old to recite a number. That's when I knew this works outside my own head, and it's why I'm comfortable sitting down with a school director or camp coordinator and telling them it belongs in their program.

No child personal info collected. A group registration stores your organization name and your contact info — that's it. We don't ask for individual kid names, photos, birthdays, or any details that wouldn't already be in your roster.
Visible only when scanned. Your contact info isn't searchable, isn't public, isn't sold. It only displays to someone holding the physical band and scanning the QR code on it.
